Tradeshows

To answer the needs of brands and buyers during a very special sales campaign, Premiere Classe, Who’s Next, IMPACT, Man/Woman and Silmo Paris teamed-up to propose a unique rendez-vous to the fashion industry, at Jardin des Tuileries. Amongst the 200 exhibiting brands, many chose to integrate a digital showroom and order-taking tools to ease the work of buyers. Meet them offlline at Jardin des Tuileries and online on LE NEW BLACK:

Bourrienne Paris X, client since 2020

When he bought the Hôtel de Bourrienne, a forgotten jewel of the Directoire period, the entrepreneur Charles Beigbeder was seduced by the history of the place. During the era of the salons, a circle of intellectuals gravitated around the Hôtel Particulier: from Talleyrand to Bonaparte via Chateaubriand and Victor Hugo. He decides to create a collection of timeless shirts, which he entrusts the Artistic Direction to the designer Cécile Faucheur: the Bourrienne Paris X shirt is born.

LaPerruque, client since 2020

All the Laperruque’s objects are handmade in the Parisian workshop. They are designed to be functional and timeless, with leathers are handpicked for their softness, strength and for their ability to age beautifully. Laperruque was created by Robin Hureau and Robin Nozay in 2015.

They use traditional French luxury techniques in order to marry refinement and durability. They are specifically inspired by modernism’s functional shapes, by the common sense of vernacular design, and by the spontaneity of folk art.

De Bonne Facture, client since 2020

“I have always been inspired by the classic menswear wardrobe, its fabrics and its craftsmanship. Shetland wool jumpers, cotton poplin shirts, oversized raincoats with careful details… Clothes that are worn out by time have always charmed me, their irregularities and their marks of use give them soul. I love when these quality clothes are worn with a form of casualness, and I often watch people in Paris carry themselves with this slightly informal touch that is also beautiful when worn by women”. Le Mont Saint-Michel, client since 2015

Le Mont St Michel is a young brand with a long history. Specialized in everlasting Workwear since 1913, the brand was taken over in 1998 by Alexandre Milan who turned it into a urban & modern fashion label, yet in line with the functional soul coming from its workwear legacy.

Alexandre Milan added to this legacy his own family craftsmanship - which is almost as old : the legacy of Les Tricotages de L'Aa ("Aa Knitting Factory"), factory founded by his great grandmother in 1919. The brand's design studio is still located in the very same location in French Brittany, where we meticulously store decades of textile archives: a genuine treasure when it comes to inspiration and which we revisit for each collection.
